PICU Offers Help to PIA/SD Fire Victims
Printing Industries Credit Union is offering Emergency Relief Loans of up to $5,000 at 0% interest to current and potential members affected by California’s devastating wildfires. “It could be days or even weeks before people receive funds from their insurance companies and FEMA,” said Rick Dockery, PICU President/CEO. “In the meantime, people need money for food, lodging, replacing clothing, travel to a relative’s home and other expenses. We want to put funds at their disposal immediately.”

The interest-free, no qualifying loans, which have terms up to 36 months, are available to members, whose primary residence is in areas declared eligible for FEMA relief, including San Diego. Members are asked to call (323)728-1866 by November 30, 2007 to apply. The first payment is not due until January 31, 2008. Eligible non-members can join the credit union at the time of application.
