PIA San Diego Sales Club
Sales Club History & Purpose:
The PIA/SD Sales Club was founded over 25 years ago with the purpose of providing information and an environment for the development of salespeople by:
- Providing a forum for the increased professionalism for salespeople in San Diego’s printing and graphic arts industry
- Promoting friendly-relations among the members of the printing and graphic arts community
- Aiding in the exchange of ideas, experience,
solutions, and discussion of the various problems that confront members
Who Can Join?
Employees of PIA/SD member companies who are salespeople, sales managers, customer service representatives and others involved in the sales process.
As a PIA/SD Sales Club Member,
you will receive:
- Discounts on PIA/SD Sales Club events/seminars/education
- Networking opportunities via events/seminars/education
- Access to the Sales Club Library, which houses up-to-date resources for salespeople
- A personal copy of the monthly PIA/SD
newsletter, the Messenger
- A subscription to Succeeding in Sales, the Sales Club newsletter just for members
- Option to participate in the Annual Food Drive, sponsored solely by the PIA/SD Sales Club, which benefits San Diego families in need
How to Join:
Sales Club membership runs from September to August and annual dues are $15 per person. To join, send a check payable to PIA/SD for each person joining. Please make a note that it is for Sales Club Membership. Email us with any questions.

Dinner Meetings
Salespeople gather to network during social hour, enjoy dinner together and then hear a fabulous speaker give the latest tips on sales and marketing.

Sales seminars are held throughout the year. They range from short workshops to full day seminars.

Other Programs
Throughout the year, various programs are scheduled like tours, technical updates and roundtable sessions.
Social Events
Each summer, PIA/SD members, friends and families get together for the Sales Club's Padres Night. For the past two years, we have enjoyed a private buffet dinner in a private setting.

LIBRARY
Sales Club members have unlimited access to our Sales Club library where you'll find resources on sales, marketing, and customer service. Any of library's books, audio and video tapes can be borrowed for up to two weeks at no charge.
NEWSLETTER
Each Sales Club member gets a personal copy of PIA/SD's monthly newsletter, the Messenger. It features a monthly Sales Club column, sales and marketing tips and notices of upcoming events.
HARVEST FOOD DRIVE
The Sales Club sponsors an annual Harvest Food Drive to benefit San Diego's families in need. Over one ton of food is collected each year. The 2008 Harvest Food Drive will run for one week from Monday, November 17 through Friday, November 21, 2008. Donations can be dropped off at one of two collection sites:

JOIN PRINT SALES & MARKETING EXECUTIVES (S&ME)
ON A NATIONAL LEVEL
The Sales and Marketing Executives (S&ME), a special interest group of the Printing Industries of America/Graphic Arts Technical Foundation (PIA/GATF), represents sales and marketing executives within the printing industry by providing products and services that enhance the visibility, growth, efficiency, and profitability they need to maintain a competitive advantage and respond to today’s changing selling environment.
S&ME offers members unparalleled networking opportunities to help with today’s tough challenges, in non-competitive, peer-to-peer forums. Individuals wishing to become S&ME members must be employed by PIA/GATF member companies.
